Of all the clients I saw back then, when I was running my own gym full time, about 70% of them were able to implement this habit and enjoy the incredible results it produces…
...but after just a few months they would rebound, gain the weight back and feel frustrated…
The habit didn’t stick, in large part because unlike MMA fighters who would spend 3-4 hours a day training, cutting weight, and following a strict diet, my clients were everyday people and weren’t accustomed to this “extreme weight loss” model.
The science worked, but the habit was not sustainable…
So I went back to the drawing board…
I dug through the research.
I thought back through my own experiences with cutting weight.
And then it hit me…
And the more I dug into this, I found that it was NOT their diet and exercise that did the trick.
After all, the yoyo fighters were often working out just as hard and dieting just as strict...and they still went through crazy weight changes (both up and down the scale).
So I kept digging...and after a lot of sleepless nights pouring over academic research, I found the answer:
NOTE: what I’m about to describe here is NOT a “cleanse” or a “detox” -- even if it sounds that way at first.
In fact, as a fitness and nutrition coach, I am strictly AGAINST traditional cleanses and detoxes.
The average person does not have a “toxin” problem or even a “fat” problem.
What they really have is a dehydration problem.

Does that number shock you?

Dehydration has been linked to…
“Drinking more water” is what fighters have been doing from the 1920s onwards to rapidly cut weight before a weigh in.
